Trypto the Acid Dog

In 1988 Bill Mumy and Miguel Ferrer along with the talented artist Steve Leialoha created TRYPTO THE ACID DOG. An homage to the early Golden Age super hero stories starring a bull terrier as their protagonist. Originally published as a one shot by Renegade Press, Trypto returned in 1991 in the British anthology "A1"book 5. A favorite project of the creators, Trypto returned again 1n 1996 and 1997 for a six issue run in DARK HORSE PRESENTS #'s 113 - 118. Bill, Miguel and Steve plan on returning to their noble canine avenger Trypto soon.
